Beautiful looking set, nice and sharp as all new knives are. However dulled after only a couple of uses each. Cleaver dented in 2 places after first use on chicken carcass.
Disappointing.
My husband has being wanting Damascus Knives for awhile, so I surprised him on his birthday with a Starter Kit with two knives with a blue epoxy handle and also a sharpener. He absolutely loved them and took them to work to show the rest of his colleagues. Thank you for making my husband birthday a fantastic one he will never forget. I will build on his starter set and get more to make a full set for him, with our 11 yr wedding Anniversary and christmas as well.
Bought 2 different knifes with different handle and different sizes of blades but at last they send me same sizes of blades saying blades will be same it varies with handle.
Be very careful with the size of blades before buying knife
8inch and 9.5 inch will be the same for them

Thanks for your review. I checked your order and noticed you have ordered an 8' Enkei Chef Knife and the 8' Pinku Knife. The 9.5' Enkei knife is definitely larger than the 8'.

Knife arrived in a timely manner with good packaging and no damage. Unfortunately the custom engraving I also purchased with the knife is not present, but surely this will be resolved with haste then making the overall experience very good.

Purchase the Awabi chef knife 12 months ago and thought I'd upgrade and get the Kaigan set. Quality is unreal. My Awabi still looks brand new

Just received mine this morning and thought they wouldn't look as good in person but the detail is INSANE!! Used them for dinner just then and they are perfect, makes preparation a lot more fun
