Great knives always wanted a great set of Japanese knives since living in Japan and bringing back 1 Global knife which needed replacing after 10 years of resharpning. Wouldnt be without them and well worth the investment!

These knives are exquisite. They look beautiful and are sharp. The only issue I have with them is, it's sometimes difficult to discern which way round the knife is, if you can understand that

This arrived sharp and aesthetically pleasing!
The length is quite long and takes some getting used to but I'd stand by it's a great value.

Purchase the Awabi chef knife 12 months ago and thought I'd upgrade and get the Kaigan set. Quality is unreal. My Awabi still looks brand new

Would recommend for anyone sitting on the fence. Can tell I'll have these for a long time.

Just received mine this morning and thought they wouldn't look as good in person but the detail is INSANE!! Used them for dinner just then and they are perfect, makes preparation a lot more fun
