Questions, answered
Is it real Damascus steel?
Yes. Every Damascus blade is 67-layer pattern-welded steel: the layers are the steel itself, not a print or an etch. The pattern is formed by a stamped process, so it looks the same across knives of one model. The handles are what make each knife one of a kind.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Within Australia, order by Tuesday 15 December. Engraved knives take 4-5 weeks, so order those by Tuesday 10 November.
Can I have it engraved?
Most knives and sets can be engraved with up to 8 characters. Tick Add custom engraving on the product page, or add it from your cart.
How do I look after it?
Hand wash, dry straight away and store it on a magnetic block or strip. Hone every few uses and sharpen on a whetstone every few months. Never the dishwasher, and not for bones or frozen food.
What if it's not right?
Return unused knives in their original packaging within 30 days, and every knife has a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. Email hello@tedzukuriknives.com.
