What does the Tedzukuri Knives warranty encompass?
Tedzukuri Knives assures that every knife or product we offer is free from defects in material, craftsmanship, and construction when used normally and in accordance with our care instructions. However, please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse or accidents. It is applicable solely to the individual who made the purchase from our online store. Instances such as knife blade chipping, knife tip breakage, food-related discoloration, and rust spots are not covered by this warranty. In many cases, chips and broken tips can be remedied through re-sharpening.
The following circumstances fall outside the scope of our warranty:
- Damage caused by misuse, improper use, or accidents.
- Misuse involving the cutting of hard substances such as frozen foods, bones, hard nuts, hard vegetables or hard cheese. If you think it 'may be to hard to cut' with a standard culinary knife, chances are that it is.
- Improper use, such as employing the item as a screwdriver, can opener, or bottle opener.
- Accidental dropping of your knife on the floor or striking it against other hard surfaces.
- Rust and discoloration resulting from inadequate aftercare.
Please be aware that our products are backed by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a major failure occurs, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, along with compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Additionally, if the goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not constitute a major one, you have the right to request their repair or replacement.
This warranty extends additional benefits to consumers, which are complementary to their other rights and remedies under applicable laws governing the goods covered by this warranty.

Initially I purchased the smaller knife (Kaigan 67 Layer Japanese Damascus with Burlwood + Acrylic - Individual Knives 5" Utility and it's been excellent.
Then I came back for the Enkei Boning Knife boning knife (150mm). Both knives are superb. So sharp (be careful with them) and excellent quality handles and presentation. Highly recommended.

Enkei Damascus Knife Set (7-Piece)
Bought a Chef knife.. Beautiful knife for that price too early to give a verdict but so far so good
Got the 7 knife set and some steak knives. The set is gorgeous with the imitation pearlecent/mother of pearl handles. The damascus pattern is printed on the knives. Couldn't shave with them but with a little work they come up double hair whittling sharp. Hold the edge really well. Overall for Roughly $90/knife definatley value. Still waiting on steak knives delivery.
My husband has being wanting Damascus Knives for awhile, so I surprised him on his birthday with a Starter Kit with two knives with a blue epoxy handle and also a sharpener. He absolutely loved them and took them to work to show the rest of his colleagues. Thank you for making my husband birthday a fantastic one he will never forget. I will build on his starter set and get more to make a full set for him, with our 11 yr wedding Anniversary and christmas as well.
