What does the Tedzukuri Knives warranty encompass?

Tedzukuri Knives assures that every knife or product we offer is free from defects in material, craftsmanship, and construction when used normally and in accordance with our care instructions. However, please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse or accidents. It is applicable solely to the individual who made the purchase from our online store. Instances such as knife blade chipping, knife tip breakage, food-related discoloration, and rust spots are not covered by this warranty. In many cases, chips and broken tips can be remedied through re-sharpening.

The following circumstances fall outside the scope of our warranty:

  1. Damage caused by misuse, improper use, or accidents.
  2. Misuse involving the cutting of hard substances such as frozen foods, bones, hard nuts, or hard cheese.
  3. Improper use, such as employing the item as a screwdriver, can opener, or bottle opener.
  4. Accidental dropping of your knife on the floor or striking it against other hard surfaces.
  5. Rust and discoloration resulting from inadequate aftercare.

Please be aware that our products are backed by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a major failure occurs, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, along with compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Additionally, if the goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not constitute a major one, you have the right to request their repair or replacement.

This warranty extends additional benefits to consumers, which are complementary to their other rights and remedies under applicable laws governing the goods covered by this warranty.
